After having recently paid a friendly visit to an acquaintance of mine, I realized that she had made some serious additions to her small appliance collection. She’s always looking for ways to make life easier when it comes to her chores and that’s a good thing. Like with her new vacuum.
She was using her new Dyson upright vacuum cleaner. I couldn’t believe my eyes as she easily worked her way around all the furniture as well as other obstacles. She explained to me that it had to do with the central ball that it rolls on instead of conventional wheels.
Not long after that, my glass of wine spilled all over the table and onto the floor. She stopped me before I can even get to the paper towels. Instead, she took out her new dry wet vacuum and within a minute or so, this bill was completely gone.
Those are the things that people should be looking for in their homes. Products that really make a difference and that can save individuals incredible amounts of time. While we all like to have a clean house, do we really have to do it the hard way? Do we have to suffer painstakingly lifting up furniture as well as the vacuum itself? I think not.
I believe that we shouldn’t resist things that simplify the tasks that we really don’t like doing in the first place. And, I also believe that we should welcome them and take the extra time that they leave us and spend it with important people that we love or doing something else that we’re passionate about.
In addition to that, I also believe that there are products out there that can help us do our part in saving our planet. Like instead of turning up the heat when it’s really cold outside, investing in inexpensive home space heaters will do the same job in terms of comfort, without wasting energy. Instead of turning up the central system, keep it at the same level and just increase the heat with a space heater. Their economical to use and they are also very safe, so you shouldn’t need to worry even if you have young children or pets.
As consumers, we need to take opportunities that are presented to us that will better our lives and won’t affect the environment as much. It could result in a healthier planet, and a healthier savings account for you too.
